50's Pin up Party

50's Pin up Party !

 At the end of July, Cyanide Kiss took part in the Polka dots and Pearls Pin up party! The event was organised by the lovely Rebecca Ebbitt from Polka dots and Pearls (looking lovely here in a custom Cyanide Kiss dress!)

All ticket sales included a donation to UNICEF. There were sandwiches, home-made cakes and teas alongside stalls and an makeover booth provided by Bethany Jane Davies. Special guests included singer Bexi Owen, and rockabilly model Coco Fierce.

The venue and catwalk show

The venue was Ridgmont House in Horwich, which can be hired for weddings. Here's a picture of the venue with everyone tucking into their cakes and sandwiches:

Nom Nom Pix was on hand to capture the day, and took some great shots of the catwalk preperations and some model shots afterwards-

Cyanide Kiss took part in the catwalk show and afterwards, Nom Nom Pix caputured the models in their outfits, suitably sipping tea!

Well, it's been busy over here, First up, we had a blog review over at Marry Me Ink which is a blog offering advice and inspiration for the tattooed bride.

In other exciting news, well we've got a top secret magazine review coming up in October, keep checking back for updates on that one! It's a great, established alternative magazine...and that's all I'm saying for now, but watch this space ;-)!!

News!

And last (but definitely not least!) Cyanide Kiss will be taking part in the Little Show of Horrors over in Modo, in Liverpool's concert square on the 2nd November! Really excited to be part of this, it's set to be a great evening out.
The night is a launch for online blog turned alternative magazine Petit Papillon de Nuit (which, by the way, you should all check out) one of my fave blogs, which is about to re-launch as an alternative magazine !
The show features an alternative fashion catwalk , burlesque shows and loads of alternative stalls as well as a 'glitzy-horror' costume contest! Better get planning an outfit! Make sure you add their facebook page here, and get yourself along for a really fun day out! Hope to see you all there!!

Galaxy dress

On of my fave commissioned, well half commissioned! I made this one for a friend for her birthday, love it so much!! The Galaxy dress!!! Made from a nebula print fabric, in my classic 50's halterneck shape!
